Catholic Community Foundation

The Catholic Community Foundation is an independent, non-profit charitable organization that works with individuals, families and organizations who want to support the religious, educational and philanthropic objectives of the Diocese of Phoenix.
Established in 1983, Bishop Thomas J. O’Brien, along with a group of laymen and clergy from the Diocese of Phoenix, took a leap of faith and formed the Catholic Community Foundation (CCF). Their goal was to raise funds to provide ongoing financial support for the future of Catholic education and communications, which in addition to many recent and newer initiatives, the Foundation remains true to today. While upholding their mission “to carry on the work of Christ by fostering philanthropy," the Foundation promotes charitable giving by Catholic families through family funds, fundraising, special events, and special projects in support of the following annual programs: The Crozier Gala, the Christian Service Awards, and the once a year Grants Program.
